POST-GRADUATE PROGRAMS

Training The Next Generation of Experienced Medical Professionals With Post-Graduate Programs

VCOM Sports & Osteopathic Medicine is a teaching clinic with Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residents and Sports Medicine Fellows who see their own patients or rotate with our physicians. All of these trainees are PGY4 or higher, they are in at least their 4th year of training after medical school. Additionally, because of the types of training programs featured at VCOM Sports & Osteopathic Medicine, these residents and fellows have already completed a primary residency and are licensed physicians. They often have already completed a residency in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and are completing an additional year of training to further hone their skills in some the the expertise that our physicians have.
