Meet Dr. Luke Robinson

A graduate of Guilford College in Greensboro NC, Dr. Luke Robinson obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens, OH. He also completed his Neuromuscular Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (NMM-OMM) +1 residency at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital and an Acupuncture For Physicians Training Course at Helms Medical Institute. Dr. Robinson has board certifications in AOBFP-Family Medicine and OMT, AOBNMM- Neuromuscular Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and AAMA-Medical Acupuncture.
Dr. Luke Robinson specializes in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Medical Acupuncture, and for him, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is a manual approach with the goals of improving function, decreasing pain and restoring wellness. He feels that these principles complement his goals as a physician as well those for his patients. He enjoys getting to know and working with his patients as well as the opportunity to teach and get to know his students.
Outside of the office, Dr. Robinson can be found enjoying the outdoors with his family. A native of Beckley WV, Dr. Robinson likes the outdoor activities this area has to offer including hiking, kayaking and biking. He also enjoys spending time in the Blacksburg community.
